Wellness Wednesday

I usually share an exercise and declaration on Wednesdays; however, this week, I’m going to share the importance of forgiveness. I remember reading one of Dr. Don Colbert’s books; in which he talked about a woman who had come in to see him. He said that she was a soft spoken and nice woman in her 40s; who was dealing with arthritis. As he interviewed her, her entire demeanor changed when she talked about how her husband left her for a younger woman. She took solace in her hope that something awful would happen to him. He told her that she had to forgive him and just let that go; because it was causing the illness that she was dealing with. Each time she came for a visit; she grew worse and worse. The arthritis had become crippling, she became hunched. She had been his patient for twenty years; and refused to let go of the anger and unforgiveness. She died in her sixties with the ailments and unforgiveness.

I find that the bible is a love story; as well as instruction by YHWH/God, on how to live our lives optimally. YHWH/God, just like any loving parent, wants t see us flourish in life. Matthew 18:23-35 has this great parable about unforgiveness: “Therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to a king who decided to bring his accounts up to date with servants who had borrowed money from him. In the process, one of his debtors was brought in who owed him millions of dollars. He couldn’t pay, so his master ordered that he be sold—along with his wife, his children, and everything he owned—to pay the debt. “But the man fell down before his master and begged him, ‘Please, be patient with me, and I will pay it all. Then his master was filled with pity for him, and he released him and forgave his debt. “But when the man left the king, he went to a fellow servant who owed him a few thousand dollars. He grabbed him by the throat and demanded instant payment. “His fellow servant fell down before him and begged for a little more time. ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it,’ he pleaded. But his creditor wouldn’t wait. He had the man arrested and put in prison until the debt could be paid in full. “When some of the other servants saw this, they were very upset. They went to the king and told him everything that had happened. Then the king called in the man he had forgiven and said, ‘You evil servant! I forgave you that tremendous debt because you pleaded with me. Shouldn’t you have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you? Then the angry king sent the man to prison to be tortured until he had paid his entire debt. “That’s what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters from your heart.”

The above verses screams just how important forgiveness is; as well as how unforgiveness brings torment to our minds and bodies. It’s poison! So, for true wellness, the practice of forgiveness has to be incorporated into our daily lives. My personal confession is that I am unoffendable and I ALWAYS forgive. I encourage you to make it yours as well. Ask the Father to show you any unforgiveness that is in your heart; and by faith forgive any and every one (including yourself); who has offended you in any way.

Now, if you don want to exercise (physically) today, check out my 10 Minute Core Workout. It’s short, quick and effective! Have an excellent rest of your week and I’ll “see” you again real soon!

Frustrated with your spouse?

Today I was frustrated with my husband; and then one of my best friends called…..and you know what? She was frustrated with hers too. Lol! As she spoke to me, I heard my voice speaking back to her; but it was counsel and wise instruction for the both of us. Sometimes we may think that we know what is best for our husbands; but it’s just wise to allow God the space to speak to and lead them (and us). I read Mark 10:45 last night; and have been meditating on it today. Yeshua came to SERVE (minister) and GIVE. He is the best example of how life is to be lived. Both serving and giving requires us to give up our own wills; as well as how we think about others and things, if the thought process is out of alignment with YHWH/God’s word and will.

The beautiful thing about marriage is that it is a covenant between the husband, YHWH/God and wife. I always say to other married women (and myself): “You and YHWH/God are the majority.” If you’re frustrated with your spouse, go to YHWH/God and offer a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving. This alone, can shift your entire thought process and atmosphere. Continue to serve and give; and watch how YHWH/God smooth things out. Much of the time, you’ll even find that YHWH/God is working out something in you that you didn’t even realize was there. He’s pretty awesome in that way.

I have come to realize that frustrations and challenges are always opportunities for refinement. Our spouses are simply mirroring back; areas that need improvement in us. There’s such freedom in not getting frustrated or annoyed by someone else’s behavior. When we realize and act in the gift of being a helper to our husbands, it transforms the entire marriage; because we’ve set ourselves in alignment with the word and will of YHWH/God. We experience Yeshua like never before; because like Him, we are servers and givers. YHWH/God bless all of the wives (and people) who are reading this post. Remember that His word and way is the standard for every area of our lives.

I Trust YHWH/God

YHWH/God is EVERYTHING to me. He is the love of my life and the center of my world. If I didn’t know Him, the first thing I’d do is get to know Him. My recommendation for anyone who doesn’t know Him, is to do the same. It’s a decision that you will never regret.

At a time when people are uncertain and unsure;

my gaze is fixed on the one I adore.

The Alpha, the Omega, the One who does not fail;

You’re my stability and the One, who causes me to prevail.

Despite the circumstances going on around me,

I’m joyful, full of praise, because You made me free!

You’re the truth.. my assurance..I trust You above all;

Even if the world seems to be at a complete stall.

My faith, my hope, my trust is in You…

The God who has consistently and faithfully come through.

I take comfort in knowing that nothing surprises You;

You saw the end from the beginning; and provided for this too.

Every knee has to bow to the name above all names;

even this virus and fear, has to do the same.

Thank you precious Father, for all you have done,

for me to possess your promises, through the death of your son.

Eternal Blessings,

Wellness Wednesday Tip of the Week #2

This week’s declaration is based on Deuteronomy 31:8 and is:  The Lord will lead me. He Himself is with me. He will not fail or leave me. I am worry-free and courageous! This powerful declaration is such a confidence booster and comfort.

The exercise of the week is a squat and push up combination for a warm up; or either for a workout. I use it for both. I love body weight exercises and feel that it’s advantageous to train the body as a unit, over training individual muscles….unless there is an injury or major muscle weakness/imbalance.  I’ve included the exercises in this video. The declaration and demo is about two minutes. The additional eight minutes includes the full workout from ten squats and push ups, down to one of each. My two daughters are in the video with me. If nothing else, you’ll get a little laugh.

As always, have an EXCELLENT rest of your week; and remember that the joy of the Lord is your strength!

Eternal Blessings,

Yonka

PROPHECY BY JOSEPH PRINCE August 19, 2018 — Sound Of Heaven

“God has released a healing anointing, a new strain of healing, that would perform such feats that we have never seen before. The devil is afraid and he is playing catch up. He’s trying to create a new strain of virus that is like Ebola and a strain of flu that is virulent against medical […]

March Blessings

Each month, I write about the blessings that took place to honor YHWH/God and to remind myself and others of His goodness and faithfulness. During the month of March, I was so grateful for the comfort of YHWH’s/God’s word…especially Psalm 91. For the past year or so, my children and I had been saying this declaration daily. As a result, when many were fearful of the virus, we were unmoved. I take comfort in knowing that power, love and a sound mind comes from YHWH/God; and fear is beneath me, because it doesn’t come from Him. This is why speaking YHWH/God’s word aloud daily, is so vitally important (and powerful).

It has been nice seeing families sitting outside on the porch together; as well as walking riding bikes and playing together. I have also appreciated seeing neighbors greet each other and hold conversations (from a little bit of a distance). I’ve enjoyed this time or rest and restoration so much! I’ve spent more time in YHWH/God’s presence, and have so thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated His love for us. YHWH/God loves us SO much!! I’ve so appreciated the relaxed schedule and just being with my husband and children.

I’m grateful to YHWH/God yet again, for His leadership and guidance. He sees all and knows all. My husband and I have confessed for years that the word of YHWH/God is the standard for our lives; and that we trust that He CAN NOT mismanage our lives. About a year ago, YHWH/God  told us to take all of our money out of the stock market. We didn’t know why; but we did it. Fast forward to now; and we are so grateful for how He takes care of the details of our life.

I often say, I don’t know how people go through life without YHWH/God. I tried it for a few months many years ago; and I can tell you, it’s was like walking around with a blindfold on; and with my ears plugged. If I didn’t know YHWH/God today, I would get to know Him quick, fast and in a hurry! Don’t waste your time or life, get to know Him today. Say this prayer to invite YHWH/God to be the Lord and savior of your life.

Many blessings,

Yonka

Victim Or Overcomer? — Pure Glory

by Hazel Straub Do you feel trapped by your circumstances or see yourself as a victim of things happening beyond your control? When you feel hopeless, fearful, and a victim, victory eludes you. Hello Everyone!!

This week’s declaration is based on John 4:18 and is: I am fearless, because of YHWH/God’s perfect love. This week’s exercise is the Four point lunge; which is a lunge to the front, another to the side, one to the back, followed by a curtsy lunge. You would then switch and do it on the other side. When performing the exercise, be sure to keep your knee and ankle aligned. For a demonstration of the exercise click here. As always, have an EXCELLENT week and I’ll be seeing you!

Stay Focused On Your Path

A friend of mine sent me a text at the end of last week, regarding a concern that the doctor had about her husband. I could tell by the tone of the text that I needed to seek YHWH/God on their behalf. I asked YHWH/God what was on His heart concerning this circumstance. He brought me to some bible verses; as well as gave other words of encouragement. I received a message today that all was well. It was not surprise to me at all, because God’s word is true and it is the law. Laws are constant and yield favorable results if you abide by it; and less than favorable results should you decide otherwise. She let me know of an issue that she was dealing with. Again, I went to my Father in prayer, asking Him for his heart on the matter; and He directed me to a verse; and prompted me to give them the book: “Of Monkeys and Dragons: Freedom From The Tyranny of Disease” by Michelle Longo O’Donnell.

I immediately got up to get the book so that I could take it to her later on. I began thumbing through and reading sections here and there. I then came to the part for the reason that she wrote the book, and felt that it is quite fitting for anyone who reads this post. I first read this book more than ten years ago, and it absolutely changed the way that I looked at disease. She tells about how she had had pneumonia for two weeks. She had come home, fell asleep and had a dream. She was walking along a path and noticed these monkeys that started biting her. She started jumping around to get them off of her. She heard a voice that said: “Don’t look at them. Look straight ahead down the path.” She was scared that they’d eat her; but she obeyed the voice. The monkeys froze. Whenever she looked at them they would bite; but whenever she focused on the path, they would freeze. As she continued down the path, she noticed two big dragons coming towards her. She was scared, but looked away anyway; and they too froze. When she woke up from the dream, all of the pneumonia symptoms were gone.

I thought this story was very fitting for now. If each person makes a decision to focus on the path that YHWH/God has designed his/her life, the fear-driven virus will become paralyzed and will not be able to touch you.
