Wellness Wednesday will be a little bit different. Since I’ve just started a new fitness channel on YouTube, I will be sharing a link to one of the workouts for the week; which also includes a prayer and declaration. This week’s declaration is based on Jeremiah 29:11 and is: God has great plans for my life; to bless and prosper me, and give me a hope and a future. The workout includes kegels to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles; as well as wall squats to strengthen the lower body. God bless you and have an excellent rest of your week!
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
-2 Chronicles 7:14
Who else is praying effectual and fervent prayer for our nation?
2 Corinthians 9:8 (TPT) – Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.
2 Corinthians 9:10 – 11 (TPT) – This generous God who supplies abundant seed for the farmer, which becomes bread for our meals,is even more extravagant toward you. First he supplies every need, plus more. Then he multiplies the seed as you sow it, so that the harvest of your generosity will grow. 11 You will be abundantly enriched in every way as you give generously on every occasion, for when we take your gifts to those in need, it causes many to give thanks to God.
Psalm 84:11 – For the Lord God is brighter than the brilliance of a sunrise! Wrapping himself around me like a shield, he is so generous with his gifts of grace and glory. Those who walk along his paths with integrity will never lack one thing they need, for he provides it all!
2 Corinthians 9:8 says You give me way more than I need;
So that I can bless others (according to Genesis 12:2) and sow more seed.
You are so generous, you give me more than enough,
Wisdom, family & friends, food and cool stuff.
Direct me to the people who came to you in prayer,
And I thank you for the honor of being the answer you’d prepare.
Psalm 121:7-8 (TPT) – He will keep you from every form of evil or calamity as he continually watches over you. 8 You will be guarded by God Himself. You will be safe when you leave your home and safely you will return. He will protect you now, and he’ll protect you forevermore!
Thank you for knowing that I would sometimes feel fear;
And for assuring me that, You’d always be here.
What a relief is Psalm 121: 7- 8…
It says: You guard me Yourself! This makes me feel great!
1 Timothy 2:1 – 2 (TPT) – Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. 2 And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts.
Proverbs 21:1 (TPT) – It’s as easy for God to steer a king’s heart for his purposes as it is for him to direct the course of a stream.
Job 12:23 (AMP)– “He makes nations great, and He destroys them; He enlarges nations, and leads them away [captive].
I pray for our leaders, to hear and obey your voice;
Concerning our nation, so they’d make the right choice…
Psalm 100:4 -5 (TPT) – You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to Him and affectionately bless His beautiful name! 5 For the Lord is always good and ready to receive you. He’s so loving that it will amaze you— so kind that it will astound you! And He is famous for His faithfulness toward all. Everyone knows our God can be trusted, for He keeps His promises to every generation!
It’s my honor and pleasure to give you praise,
The Almighty, Omnipotent, Ancient of Days.
You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end,
The Omniscient One who created the seas and the wind.
I thank you O Lord, for Your mercy and grace,
And for being with me, know matter what I face.
Your word (2 Corinthians 2:14) says You always cause me to win,
You’re the One on whom, I can always depend.
Thank you O Lord for all that You’ve done;
And for the ultimate sacrifice of Your son.
I love You and need you more than air,
And I thank you precious Father, for always being there.
Mark 11:25 (NKJV) – And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
Matthew 5:44 -45 (TPT) –However, I say to you, love your enemy, bless the one who curses you, do something wonderful for the one who hates you, and respond to the very ones who persecute you by praying for them. 45 For that will reveal your identity as children of your heavenly Father. He is kind to all by bringing the sunrise to warm and rainfall to refresh whether a person does what is good or evil.
A couple weeks ago both my 6 and 7 year youngs told me that they wanted Yeshua (Jesus) to come and live in their hearts. I lead them in the following prayer:
Acts 16:31 says to believe on the Lord Yeshua, and I will be saved.
Today I’m making the decision to walk by faith.
I repent of iniquities, trangressions and sin,
I now invite You, to come on in.
Yeshua come into my heart, live in and through me;
So that I can be all, that You’ve created me to be.
I’m now all Yours; and there’s no doubt, You are now in; and the devil is out!
In Yeshua’s name,
If you have children, please feel free to share this poem with them. I actually wrote it; and about 7 others last month when I thought about the faithless prayer that I prayed as a young kid. It is my heart’s desire to teach my children and others (especially children), how to pray according to the word of God….or effectual and fervent prayers. When I was a kid, I remember my siblings and I praying: “Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take.” The problem with this prayer is that it’s inconsistent with what the word of God says. Isaiah 26:3 (CSB) says: You will keep in perfect peace the mind [that is] dependent [on You], for it is trusting in You. Remember that our souls are made up of our minds, will and emotions): so He has us covered. In Psalm 91:16, God declares that He will reward His followers with long life. Psalm 118:17 says that we shall live and not die. The infamous prayer/poem mentioned above sounds good; but it’s full of unbelief and therefore, ineffective.
It is my sincere hope that all parents teach their children how to pray effectively. I will be sharing additional short prayers/poems that are aligned with the Word of God. Please feel free to share them with the children in your life. As always, have an EXCELLENT week and I’ll see you around the blogisphere!
