June Blessings

Psalm 121 1- 2

There were so many blessings during the month of June….almost too numerous to count. I share these monthly blessings posts to not only remind myself of YHWH/God’s goodness; but also to encourage others to truly trust YHWH/God. In my May Blessings post, I shared a testimony about a conversation with YHWH/God; and how He had blessed me with help three days later. A day after that (which was June 1st), YHWH/God blessed me with more help. To say that I do NOT enjoy cooking is a DRASTIC understatement. In my heart, I wanted a chef to just cook dinner. It was the meal that I least looked forward to making each day. Again, during my conversation with the Most High, I didn’t complain; I recited Psalm 121:1 to Him; and thanked Him for being my helper. Not only did God send me a Chef; but one who could make Caribbean food (which is an anomaly in the area where I live). In my eyes, not only did YHWH/God bless me; but He also delivered me from having to cook dinner and lunch. The Chef makes so much food; that it has been more than enough for dinner and weekends. I just praise YHWH/God, because He’s interested in every detail of our lives; as well as truly gives us the desires of our hearts. He also gives us exceedingly beyond what we ask. I just praise and thank Him!

Another blessing during the month of June was home renovations. I was vacuuming the rug in my living room; and thought to myself: “This rug needs to be cleaned.” I then thought to myself: “This whole house needs an overhaul.” The very next day, my husband came home with a new living room set. He asked me my thoughts. I responded that I LOVED it! (My husband has great taste; so I totally trust Him to select things for our home). From there, we have been upgrading each room. We’re not done yet; but we’re well on our way.

Romans 13 8

The blessing in all of this is two-fold. YHWH/God takes care of me and my household, because of our covenant relationship. I rely on Him alone to provide for me. There’s no pressure on my husband to get things for me. YHWH/God will put things on His heart; and He does it. The second part of the blessing is that we are able to pay for everything in cash. Once our hearts took hold of the revelation of Romans 13:8, we made the quality decision to stay out of debt; and trust YHWH/God for everything.

Perhaps the greatest blessing of June is that one of the contractors working in our home gave his life to YHWH/God. On the day that it happened, my husband was upstairs witnessing to him; while I was downstairs praying for him. I just praise YHWH/God! One more treasure for Him.

There were so many more blessings; but I don’t want this post to get super long. Thank you for reading. Please share some of the ways YHWH/God has blessed you; and may He bless you even more. Have an excellent weekend!

The Lesson

Luke 6 38

My husband had just finished his lunch; as he and I sat at the dining room table. My 7 year old son had come downstairs to the dining room and showed his money to Papa. My husband asked him, how much did he have? To which my son responded: $1.50. My husband asked him if he would give him all of his money, except one cent. My son paused and said no. “I’ll only have one penny if I gave you all my money.” My husband responded: okay. He then called our second son (6 years) down to the dining room and asked him for all of his money. My second son said no. My husband responded: okay. He then called our oldest daughter (4 years)  to the dining room and asked her the same question; to which she responded yes, and gladly gave him her dollar. He called our baby girl (2 years) downstairs to the dining room and asked her for all of her money; and she too responded yes and gave it to him. My husband said to the girls: “Because you gave me all that you had, I’m going to give you back your dollar and another one.” The girls rejoiced and said thank you  papa! He then said: “I only added a dollar; but I like multiplication; so I’m going to give you another dollar.” The girls rejoiced again and thanked their papa. He then said: “Because you said thank you, I’m going to give you another dollar.” The girls again rejoiced and thanked papa.” Finally, my husband said: “Because you cheerfully gave me all that you had, I’m going to give you another dollar.” The girls celebrated once again; and cheerfully thanked their papa.

2 Corinthians 9 7

I sat there the entire time as I watched this biblical lesson being played out before my very eyes. My husband and I got up from the table; and went into the foyer to look at the new chairs that we had just bought. The girls followed us into the foyer; while my sons stayed at the table thinking. After we finished in the foyer, my husband, the girls and I went into the kitchen. I explained to the boys that they had just witnessed and been a part of a biblical lesson. I shared with them the time that YHWH/God told me to give away my entire check. It was very uncomfortable for me; but I did it anyway. Two weeks later, I had received a debt-free vehicle. I explained that it’s good to give your normal tithes and offerings; but there will be times when the Father asks you to give more. It’s only because He wants to give more to you.

Psalm 32 8

This week’s declaration is based on Psalm 32:8 and is: YHWH/God will instruct and teach me in the way I should go;  He will counsel me with His loving eye on me. Last night I asked God to give me instruction concerning a matter. I had a dream and then Psalm 32:8 was the first verse my eyes were drawn to this morning. I was beyond delighted because God is so very faithful in the plethora of ways that He answers our prayers.

This week’s declaration is based on Romans 12:19 and is: Vengeance is God’s. He will repay.  As I look at the turmoil that is going on in our nation, I ask the following questions: What am I seeing? What is at the source of what I am seeing? What does the scripture say about what I am seeing? What does YHWH/God want me to do about what I am seeing? For every problem that we will ever encounter in life, YHWH/God has already provided a solution. I see it time and time again in scripture. If we look at the story of the Children of Israel, we see that they were enslaved, mistreated, and lived in anguish. However, when the vengeance of the Lord came; it all but wiped out Egypt; and if you read the account in the book of Jasher, you’ll see that one of the Pharoahs who treated them so harshly, was plagued with a flesh rotting disease for ten years, died, and was buried dishonorably. Trust YHWH/God that He has everything figured out; and we do not have to explode, destroy things and communities, or hurt people, because of a perceived injustice or weariness. No matter how unjust a situation might seem; allow YHWH/God…..the Judge, Lawgiver and King (Isaiah 33:22) to make a righteous ruling and enact vengeance. YHWH/God’s word far outweighs our perceptions, attitudes and emotions.

The mobility exercise of the week is hip circles. You’re going to stand up tall, with your feet about hip distance apart; and shoulders down away from your ears. You’re going to engage your core by pulling your navel into your spine. You’re going to soften your knees and then make circles below the waist with your pelvis. See a demonstration here. As always, have an excellent rest of your week and I’ll see you soon!

The Snare Of The Mouth — Pure Glory

If we truly understood how our words impact our lives; we would only say what YHWH/God says. This is such a great post on this subject from Pure Glory.

by Apostle Gabriel Cross Recently, I was reading (Proverbs 6:2)”Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art caught by the words of your mouth.” The word snare means entrapped or barbed. Then the Holy Spirit began to show me some words of entrapment (inner vows) in my heart. One was, “here […]

Grateful for Fathers

HappyFather's Day!

I honor and bless all of  the wonderful fathers!!! I thank YHWH/God for you; and the blessing that you are to society. I am also very grateful to the Heavenly Father for my husband. He is a representation of YHWH/God in the earth. It is an honor to watch Him consider the Most High throughout the day, every day. He meditates on the word almost constantly; and is always excited to share revelations that the Father has given him. This is why Fathers are so important in the home. They are the foundation. They are the priests. Children learn who they are by observing and imitating their father. Fathers pray, protect, provide (love, leadership, discipline, guidance, identity, forgiveness, mercy, grace, finances) and so much more.

I did not grow up with my father in my home; so it’s extra special to me to watch how my husband interacts with our children. He hugs and kisses them….holds conversations with them…. plays with them….disciplines them when necessary….teaches them….explains things to them….challenges them….and he’s so very open and honest with them. I love that two of his biggest desires in life is to be a friend of YHWH/God’s and to do everything that he was placed in the earth to do. He is  a very loyal person, full of integrity, a cheerful giver, a lover of God & family, compassionate, brilliant, full of wisdom, knowledge and understanding, obedient to God, humble, bold….and everything that I want my children to be and more. I couldn’t have imagined such an excellent father for my children; but then there’s YHWH/God…..who’s always doing exceedingly above all we could ask or imagine.  Thank you Father, for such an awesome and loving Father and husband!

This week’s declaration is based on Romans 8:31 and is: “Since God is for me, no one can stand up against me.” Be sure to meditate this word to strengthen your faith and possess your promised land.

The exercise of the week is a neck mobility exercise; which can improve the range of motion in the neck, as well as alleviate aches or pains in the neck area.

In this week’s video, I demonstrate the exercise; as well as Read Romans 8:31 – 39 MSG. I think these verses are a great reminder of God’s love for us; as our nation go through so much turmoil. God bless you! Have an excellent rest of your week and I’ll see you around the blog!

May Blessings

YHWH/God is so good! I love the way that He speaks, teaches and reveals things to us. This past month has been one of rest, revelation, answered prayers and so much more. I have so enjoyed reading and studying the Book of Jasher this month. I love the way that it ended. Chapter 91: 15 – 17 reads:

15 And the Lord gave to the children of Israel the whole land of Canaan, as he had sworn to their ancestors, and the Lord gave them rest from those around them, and the children of Israel dwelt securely in their cities.

16 Blessed be the Lord for ever, amen, and amen.

17 Strengthen yourselves, and let the hearts of all you that trust in the Lord be of good courage.

YWHW/God made a promise to Abraham and you get to see His faithfulness throughout the entire book, until the promise was fulfilled. This book was like a love letter from YHWH/God to me. It showed me my history and identity, His faithfulness, the reason to trust Him no matter what. I felt the security of His love, presence and instruction. I can go on and on about the blessings that I received from reading this book; but I highly encourage you to read it for yourself; and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you.

During this month, clarity of vision came. YHWH/God gave my husband and me a prophecy a while ago. We saw much of it come to pass. As I read through the Book of Jasher, the story of Joseph after He was released from prison and what came afterwards arrested my attention. As I sat there, I began to hear YHWH/God speak to me. One thing that I heard Him say is that His words do not fall to the ground. When He speaks, don’t just take part of what He says; but to receive all of it. I went back and reread the prophecy; and saw that I had received only part of it and not all. For that I repented. The next morning, I shared this with my husband; and it answered the question that was in his heart. We made a decision that morning to believe every word of the prophecy that YHWH/God had given us; and to act on it. After that, the vision became so much clearer.

Besides these great blessings, we have received many others. My husband graduated with his 8th or 9th degree; and we’ve spent even more time together as a family. One of my sons found money on the ground while we were out and about one day.  I found money on the ground a few days ago; while I went to workout one evening. I saw my grouchy neighbor smile for the FIRST time in the three years that she’s lived in our neighborhood. My two year old daughter went up to her, waved and said hi. She smiled, knelt down, and said:  “Hi sweet girl.” My husband and I (and I’m sure any other neighbor who saw the exchange) were absolutely speechless. I got new flooring and appliances in my kitchen; and there were many more. I want to however, share a quick testimony.

I was up late one night washing the dishes and talking with YHWH/God. I told Him that I noticed that Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah all had handmaids to help them. I reminded Him of Psalm 121:1 and thanked Him for being my helper. This was just a conversation between me and the Father….no one else. My husband and children were all upstairs in their bedrooms sleeping. Three days later, my husband comes home with a cleaning lady; who will be cleaning our home a couple times a week. She’s a believer and we instantly connected. How good is YHWH/God! My heart’s desire was just to spend more time in prayer and listening to YHWH/God. I see the benefits, not just for my family; but for friends, neighbors, relatives and leaders as well. There is nothing like a word, dream or vision from the Most High to strengthen, encourage and guide us.

As always, have an EXCELLENT week! YHWH/God bless you and I’ll see you around the blog!
