June was another month of awesome learning adventures for the B3 Life Learners. Since we spend time at the lake each week; we began exploring and learning about invasive species that damage the ecosystem of the lake, such as: Eurasian watermilfoil, curlyleaf pondweed, zebra mussel, asian clam and spiny water fleas. We visited Cooper’s Cave, which inspired James Fenimo Cooper to write, The Last of the Mohicans in 1825. The kids weren’t too impressed with the history. They however, sure did enjoy running across the bridge and climbing on the platform over the cave to point out different birds that flew by; as well as looking to see if they could spot any fish or animals. After leaving there, because my four year old had to use the bathroom, we went across the street to the park. However, the bathrooms were closed. I pulled out my trusted little “Go Girl” and an empty water bottle; and my girl relieved herself with no problems. The kids then went rolling, running and jumping down a hill. We then went to check out the big flock of geese. When it was time to go, they were all complaining of being itchy. My 6 year old asked; why is my skin so itchy? I told him that the grass made it itchy. His response: how? I said, that’s a great question! We will look it up; and we did….after they took baths of course! We found out that grass has serrated edges on each blade that makes microscopic cuts in the skin; and secretes an irritating fluid that makes us itchy.
Aside from these adventures; we attended my niece’s graduation party; where the kids got to interact and play with older cousins, friends and family members. They learned to play ladder toss, played with six week old puppies Jax and Duke; and played with various toys. We go out on the boat every week. So this past week; my 6 year old told my husband that he wanted to drive the boat; so he did for a while. The other three also drove the boat. Other adventures and activities that the kids engaged in during the month of June was washing the car, watching a couple of bees pollinate flowers, picnicking, drawing, painting and practicing their musical instruments. The kids also played with one neighbor’s bunny; and another neighbor’s cat.
We continued our regular activities like reading through the book of Matthew, listening to the wonder bible at night, cleaning; as well as learning through gaming on ABCya, Khan Academy Kids and Starfall. My seven year old (and I) learned about interjections through playing a game on Starfall. I didn’t know that there was such a thing; until he started playing that game. He was also learning how to read building plans. My kids draw, write and read nearly every day; as well as bike, walk, run, play and explore outdoors. There was so much packed into this month that this post would be a book, if I wrote everything. In a nutshell, the kids are progressing and learning quite well. This week’s declaration is based on Romans 12:19 and is: Vengeance is God’s. He will repay. As I look at the turmoil that is going on in our nation, I ask the following questions: What am I seeing? What is at the source of what I am seeing? What does the scripture say about what I am seeing? What does YHWH/God want me to do about what I am seeing? For every problem that we will ever encounter in life, YHWH/God has already provided a solution. I see it time and time again in scripture. If we look at the story of the Children of Israel, we see that they were enslaved, mistreated, and lived in anguish. However, when the vengeance of the Lord came; it all but wiped out Egypt; and if you read the account in the book of Jasher, you’ll see that one of the Pharoahs who treated them so harshly, was plagued with a flesh rotting disease for ten years, died, and was buried dishonorably. Trust YHWH/God that He has everything figured out; and we do not have to explode, destroy things and communities, or hurt people, because of a perceived injustice or weariness. No matter how unjust a situation might seem; allow YHWH/God…..the Judge, Lawgiver and King (Isaiah 33:22) to make a righteous ruling and enact vengeance. YHWH/God’s word far outweighs our perceptions, attitudes and emotions.
The mobility exercise of the week is hip circles. You’re going to stand up tall, with your feet about hip distance apart; and shoulders down away from your ears. You’re going to engage your core by pulling your navel into your spine. You’re going to soften your knees and then make circles below the waist with your pelvis. See a demonstration here. As always, have an excellent rest of your week and I’ll see you soon!
If we truly understood how our words impact our lives; we would only say what YHWH/God says. This is such a great post on this subject from Pure Glory.
by Apostle Gabriel Cross Recently, I was reading (Proverbs 6:2)”Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art caught by the words of your mouth.” The word snare means entrapped or barbed. Then the Holy Spirit began to show me some words of entrapment (inner vows) in my heart. One was, “here […]
I honor and bless all of the wonderful fathers!!! I thank YHWH/God for you; and the blessing that you are to society. I am also very grateful to the Heavenly Father for my husband. He is a representation of YHWH/God in the earth. It is an honor to watch Him consider the Most High throughout the day, every day. He meditates on the word almost constantly; and is always excited to share revelations that the Father has given him. This is why Fathers are so important in the home. They are the foundation. They are the priests. Children learn who they are by observing and imitating their father. Fathers pray, protect, provide (love, leadership, discipline, guidance, identity, forgiveness, mercy, grace, finances) and so much more.
I did not grow up with my father in my home; so it’s extra special to me to watch how my husband interacts with our children. He hugs and kisses them….holds conversations with them…. plays with them….disciplines them when necessary….teaches them….explains things to them….challenges them….and he’s so very open and honest with them. I love that two of his biggest desires in life is to be a friend of YHWH/God’s and to do everything that he was placed in the earth to do. He is a very loyal person, full of integrity, a cheerful giver, a lover of God & family, compassionate, brilliant, full of wisdom, knowledge and understanding, obedient to God, humble, bold….and everything that I want my children to be and more. I couldn’t have imagined such an excellent father for my children; but then there’s YHWH/God…..who’s always doing exceedingly above all we could ask or imagine. Thank you Father, for such an awesome and loving Father and husband!
This week’s declaration is based on Romans 8:11 and is: Greater is He who is within me, than he who is in the world. Be sure to meditate on and speak this declaration aloud as often as possible to move it from your head to your heart.
This week’s exercise helps to increase the mobility in the torso. Click here for a demonstration. As always, have an excellent rest of your week and I’ll see you again soon!
This week’s declaration is based on Psalm 1:2-3 and is: I delight in the law of the Lord; and meditate His word day & night. I am like a tree that’s planted by the rivers of water; and everything I put my hands to will prosper. This week’s mobility exercise is shoulder rolls. Further explanation & demonstration is found here. Thanks for reading &/or watching!
This is a dream I had in January that I released as a prophetic word. Because of what we are seeing right now in the earth, I am reposting this word and I am crying out for, decreeing and declaring this unprecedented, accelerated demonstration and manifestation of the Lord’s justice in the earth. Prophetic Word […]
This week’s declaration is based on Romans 8:31 and is: “Since God is for me, no one can stand up against me.” Be sure to meditate this word to strengthen your faith and possess your promised land.
The exercise of the week is a neck mobility exercise; which can improve the range of motion in the neck, as well as alleviate aches or pains in the neck area.
In this week’s video, I demonstrate the exercise; as well as Read Romans 8:31 – 39 MSG. I think these verses are a great reminder of God’s love for us; as our nation go through so much turmoil. God bless you! Have an excellent rest of your week and I’ll see you around the blog!
